School Workshops
The ‘No More Secrets for Kids’ Session
In these 45-minute value packed sessions, children will have the opportunity to read one of the books from the ‘No More Secrets for Kids’ collection with the author or a member of her team.
Depending on the type of abuse being explored, children will discuss content from the book, whilst addressing important topics to include (but not limited to):
- Consent and Healthy Boundaries
- Online Safety
- Appropriate and Inappropriate touch
- Emotional Wellbeing and Feelings
- Mental Health
- Keeping safe at home
- How to report concerns and seek advice if something is wrong
All topics discussed will complement Relationships, Health and Sex Education (RHSE), which is intended to sit alongside or integrated into your school’s statutory Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy.
Our workshops are designed in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ 2023 (KCSIE), ‘Teaching Online Safety in Schools’, statutory RSHE guidance and other statutory documents.

We recognise that for a small number of children, unfortunately they are vulnerable to abuse, currently experiencing abuse or previous victims of abuse.
We are able to tailor specialist workshops to further explore particular issues that arise from our books. These include, but are not limited to:
- What happens if my parents/ carers don’t believe me when I tell?
- What if the person who is supposed to be my ‘safe person’, is not safe at all?
- I feel worried all the time, what can I do?
- What happens to the person who has hurt me?
